Visiting
My Brothers
The Lord prompted us to found Visiting My Brothers in 2010 when the opportunities to visit prisons in 3rd world countries with Prison Fellowship International were becoming less available. We recognized that the relationships we had already established in these countries afforded us the opportunity to continue a great work on a smaller scale. With the blessing and encouragement of Prison Fellowship International, we formally established Visiting My Brothers as a non profit organization in 2014. We exist simply to honor God by fulfilling His Word to "Go into all the world" (Matthew 28:19) and "Serve the least of these." (Matthew 25:35-36).
The Creation of VMB
The ministry is unique in that we have the incredible privilege of going inside the walls of the prisons in Rwanda, Malawi and Liberia to visit one on one with the men, women and children incarcerated there. By providing basic human needs along with the gospel message to those imprisoned in the poorest parts of the world, as well as to the children and families they leave behind, we can demonstrate God's love and saving grace in Christ Jesus in a very practical way.
